Central Delhi

Central Delhi is a district in the Union Territory of Delhi in India. The district is bounded in the north by North Delhi District, in the East by East District and Yamuna river, in the south by New Delhi District, and in the west by South West Delhi District, West Delhi District, and North Delhi District.

There are three tahsils in the district - Karol Bagh Tahsil, Parar Ganj Tahsil, and Daryaganj Tahsil.

The area of this district is 21 sq km. Total population as per census 2011 is 582,320. There are two statutory towns in the district.

The district headquarters is also the headquarters of Karol Bagh, and Daryaganj tahsils.
